About Christine – Owner & Licensed Massage Therapist at A Little Zen

Hi, I’m Christine, founder of A Little Zen in Romeo, Michigan.
I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for nearly 10 years, but my journey into holistic wellness started long before that.

From a young age, I was fascinated by natural healing, herbalism, and the mind-body connection. Learning about plants, energy, and the body’s ability to restore itself came naturally — so when the time came to choose a career, massage therapy simply made sense.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked as a restorative technician, collaborating with physical therapists to design personalized exercise and recovery plans for clients. That foundation in movement and rehabilitation continues to influence the way I approach massage today — blending therapeutic technique with mindful care.

As a graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute, I’ve had the opportunity to study a variety of massage styles and healing modalities. Over the years, I’ve become skilled in cupping therapy, hot stone and salt stone massage, shiatsu, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and sports massage. I also offer KT taping to support clients seeking enhanced recovery and mobility.

For over 30 years, I’ve worked with aromatherapy, creating custom essential oil blends and handcrafted body wellness products that complement my massage practice. These blends are crafted with care, combining my love for natural healing and artistry — so clients can take a little bit of relaxation home with them.

When I’m not in my studio, you can find me spending time with my family, creating art, or playing the Native American flute — a beautiful practice that helps me begin and end each day with calm and intention.

At A Little Zen, my goal is simple: to help each person feel better — body, mind, and spirit — through mindful, compassionate touch and a truly personalized experience.
