About Me

About Christine – Owner & Licensed Massage Therapist at A Little Zen

I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 10 years, but my path into holistic wellness began long before I ever entered the treatment room.
From a young age, I was drawn to natural healing, herbalism, and the mind-body connection. Learning about plants, energy, and the body’s innate ability to restore itself felt intuitive — so when it came time to choose a career, massage therapy was a natural fit.
Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked as a restorative technician, collaborating with physical therapists to create personalized exercise and recovery plans for clients. That early foundation in movement, rehabilitation, and functional care continues to shape the way I approach massage today — blending therapeutic precision with mindful, compassionate touch.
I am a graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute, where I studied a wide range of massage styles and healing modalities. Over the years, I’ve developed experience in cupping therapy, hot stone and salt stone massage, shiatsu, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and sports massage. I also offer KT taping for clients seeking additional support with recovery, stability, and mobility.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked with aromatherapy, creating custom essential oil blends and handcrafted body wellness products that complement my massage practice. These blends are thoughtfully made, combining my love of natural healing with creativity — allowing clients to take a sense of relaxation and care home with them.
When I’m not in the wellness center, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, creating art, or playing the Native American flute — a grounding practice that helps me begin and end each day with intention and calm.
At A Little Zen, my goal is simple:
to help each person feel better — body, mind, and spirit — through mindful, personalized care and compassionate touch.

Every session is guided by listening — to your goals, your comfort, and what your body needs in that moment.
